Michael cultivated his logic with a BA in Geoscience & Biology from Hamilton College in upstate New York, where he studied mineralogy and geochemistry. He spent years working as a Marine Geochemist for the United States Geological Survey (USGS), followed by a MSc in Marine Science and Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), where he sharpened his scientific approach and understanding of geological, physical and chemical processes.

Now, Michael understands crystals for what they are- energetic epicenters of the quantum realm, following the natural laws of the physical realm, each with powerful electromagnetic signatures, many of them cosmically unique to our planet Earth. As he connects and integrates left and right brain, logical and metaphysical, tangible and energetic, he invites you to do the same in order to expand your understanding of the world around you. He seeks to create a more unified worldview of processes we as humans are just beginning to understand. Oceanstone Collections was born from this vision, with the intention of serving as a conduit for highly energetic and rare crystals to the conscious collective.
